Brian Mengler is a native of St. Charles, Illinois, with a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from North Central College. Having spent time with College of Charleston as an Artist in Residence, and Charleston Opera Theatre as a Rising Artist, he is currently attending University of North Texas to pursue an MM in Vocal Performance with an emphasis in Opera. Praised for his full lyric voice, Brian is also known for his comedic timing and presence on stage. His favorite roles performed include Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni), Beppe (I Pagliacci), and Prunier (La Rondine) as well as musical theatre roles including Beast (Beauty and the Beast), King Triton (Little Mermaid), and Andre (Phantom of the Opera). Upcoming engagements include Alfred (Die Fledermaus) and a return to Rinuccio (Gianni Schicchi). Brian would like to thank his friends, mentors and family for all of their love and support in getting him to where he is today.
