Annie Bennett is a young dramatic soprano hailing from the Chicagoland area. Some of Ms. Bennett’s favorite past credits include Countess Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro (Opera Aeterna), Micaëla in Carmen (Chicago Summer Opera), Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni (Opera Aeterna), and Dido in Dido and Aeneas (Chicago College of Performing Arts). Upcoming projects include reprising the role of Countess Almaviva with the Lyric Opera Studio Weimar in Weimar, Germany this July. Ms. Bennett is also a member of the Chicago Symphony Chorus and has been performing with them since the Spring of 2022. Other professional choirs she has sung with include Camerata Chicago, Fox Valley Opera, and St. James Parish Gallery Choir. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Classical Voice Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts, and currently studies with mezzo soprano Viktoria Vizin.
