Fox Valley Opera and Moonlight Theatre are proud to present La Voix Humaine and The Telephone. Two short operas. Two very different love stories. This double bill pairs Francis Poulenc’s La Voix Humaine, an intimate, emotional opera about a woman on the last phone call of a relationship, with Gian Carlo Menotti’s The Telephone, a charming romantic comedy about a couple constantly interrupted by a phone.

Warning: La Voix Humaine is a tragic opera which portrays Elle’s poor mental health and explores such themes as abandonment, self harm, and suicide.
